Why Choose Us?

Our Process sets us apart!

Goldendoodle and Bernedoodle puppies are our passion! Well, one of them anyway. We are huge fans of dogs and have been forever. We have learned that though we love all dogs, some behaviors and demeanors can make for a difficult relationship. Our goal as a doodle breeder is to above and beyond to create beautiful, healthy puppies that are easy going, well-socialized, and ready to be the best companion you will ever have.

How do we do this?

Genetics, health testing, lineage.
All of our breeding dames are carefully chosen for their genetic makeup, coloring, and the health history of their parentage.

Carefully chosen studs.
We look for health-tested fun family pets that enjoy interacting with people and are smart and obedient. We look for the ability to be calm and connect with their owners. We also look for studs who come from generations of strong, healthy ancestry.

Focus on pre-natal care
We make sure that our pregnant mom is happy and very well taken care of, especially during her final 2 weeks of gestation when she gets awfully uncomfortable carrying those growing puppies! We have found that tummy rubs and scratches behind the ear go a long way with our girls!

Delivery is a hands-on event for us.
We take turns in our family to make sure that our girl is never left alone for the many hours leading up to the delivery and of course throughout the delivery. She seems to relax and be comforted by a hand always on her back or rubbing her neck.

Infant socialization and neurological stimulation
Our puppies are held and snuggled from the day they are born. They get very used to being handled and learn to trust us from the start. These little guys love to nuzzle right up into our necks and sleep. On their 3rd day we begin Early Neurological Stimulation. Our scent and touch is almost as familiar to them as their mother’s. As the puppies grow we welcome our friends and neighbors to come over and play with them! This helps the puppies adjust to many different faces, scents, and ages.

Regular vet visits
All of our puppies have their dew claws removed, are vaccinated, wormed and fully checked by our vet four times before they leave for their new homes.

Keeping the family together
They stay in their roomy whelping box and their mom comes and goes as she pleases. We know it is so important to keep the puppies together for at least 8 weeks. They learn so much from their mom and their siblings! Our puppies also enjoy going outside at least three times a day as a group. They love to run, play, and explore until they are completely tuckered-out! Then, we head back inside for nap-time.

Paper training
By three weeks of age our puppies begin potty training. We use the very practical method that we learned from Misty Trails Havenese. We begin by separating a potty area from the sleeping area. Doodle puppies naturally do not mess in their sleeping or eating area. This has been very successful and makes training at their new home so much easier!

Crate Training
By 6 weeks old our puppies have been moved out of their whelping box into a larger room and graduated from using Potty Pads to using a Potty Box filled with compressed wood pellets for their bathroom needs. Also at this time we begin crate training a little through the day and a little through the night. During the daytime, we start by placing the puppies in the crates when they are nice and drowsy and letting them rest with the gate closed for an hour. Each day we stretch a little longer until they are easily staying in the crate for a 3-hour block. For the nighttime routine we start by quietly kissing the puppies goodnight, then placing them in their crates, closing the doors, then turning out the light. The first night they usually stay happy for about 3 hours before we take them out, but then each night they sleep deeper and deeper, longer and longer until by 7 weeks they are sleeping for a good 8-hour stretch. This has been accomplished with every litter, so we have no trouble counting on it!

Health Guarantee
If within the first two years of their lives they are found to have life threatening, or seriously debilitating genetic defects we will refund up to 50% of your purchase price of the puppy (minus shipping costs). We would never want to leave you with no support should anything this awful come about. We keep their living area clean and free from anything that could do the puppies harm. Remember, they are our babies before they are your babies!
